40 Weeks

Inanimate comparison: A jackfruit. I have no idea how big a jackfruit is, but I'm going to assume it's pretty huge.

Maternity clothes: I've outgrown almost all of my maternity shirts, but I still fit into three of my non-pregnancy pants. It's strange.

Stretch marks: Still none!

Sleep: Not great. Peter and I have been making bets on what time I'll wake up in the night. Strangely, he usually wins.

Best moment this week: Reaching 40 weeks. Having dinner with Peter every day this week and lunch almost every day. Spending so much time with my sister.

Miss anything: I'm very content right now.

Movement: Still lots.

Cravings: None.

Sickness: None.

Gender: Still a surprise.

Labour signs: I've had some twinges, but I don't even know what a contraction feels like!

Symptoms: None.

Belly button: Stretched and strange.

Wedding rings: Still on.

Happy or moody: Very happy.

Looking forward to: Meeting our baby hopefully sometime this week.

Here is a picture Peter took of me yesterday:

  1. Now I understand why "jackfruit" was in the Google search box when I turned on the computer. . .

  2. Can you tell us more about this? I'd want to find out some additional information.

  4. Can I simply just say what a comfort to discover someone
that really knows what they are discussing on the internet.
You definitely understand how to bring a problem to
light and make it important. More and more people must look
at this and understand this side of the story. I can't believe you are not more popular since you certainly possess the gift.
